The college allocated about 3 acres of land for a Social Forestry Project on a land besides the State Highway and the railway line. Social Forestry in essence is planting of trees in idle and unused lands to encourage afforestation. This involved cultivating fast-growing trees like Sonajhuri to ensure sustainable resource management Its primary aim is to promote environmental and social development in rural areas.
