Gour Mohan Sachin Mandal Mahavidyalaya is a Study Centre of Netaji Subhas Open University (Code F-10). It offers Undergraduate as well as Post Graduate Courses.
The college wanted its students as well as of the area to have access to a system of education outside the orbit of formal education- a non-formal system of education catering to the needs of higher education which is cost-effective as well as one which promotes a flexible and innovative system of education catering to the educational needs of the weaker sections of the society.
In tune with the Vision and Mission of the college, the college opened the study centre of NSOU to give everybody equal opportunities to raise their education level and develop their competencies and also to help students who spend most of their time in full time jobs. The college also wanted to look into the needs of those who have education gaps. Students who are unable to pursue their academic career because of various reasons can also get back into studies without complications through this study centre.
